Sales Engineer

Join our venture as the first Sales Engineer and impact how companies make data-driven decisions. In this role, you'll get the chance to shape a young technology startup from its earliest days on through your efforts, experience, and industry expertise.


Your role
  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes of our software to articulate use cases and value to customers.
  • Participate in promoting the value of Kausa’s products using multiple channels, including phone, presentation, and live online and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Manage customer trials, ensuring engagement with products and resulting solutions.
  • Show the product value to different stakeholders (data leaders and business stakeholders)
  • Articulate and educate a variety of audiences (e.g. data engineers and data analysts) on technical and architectural concepts.
Your profile
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field)
  • You are experienced in performing technical presentations or public speaking
  • You are experienced in translating business questions and problems into technical implementation
  • You are proficient in SQL
  • You already worked with Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar
  • Nice to have: solid knowledge of dbt and LookML
