The Merantix AI Fund is Europe‘s first and leading comprehensive, specialized AI fund! Our team builds and invests in category-defining early-stage AI-native companies, always seeking the largest exponential lever through AI as a general-purpose technology. To source and build a portfolio of 40 strong AI-native companies, the Merantix AI Fund leverages the Merantix Platform to attract and foster interactions between ideas, talent, industry, and policy at an exceptional scale. Having built 10+ AI ventures, counting more than 60 technical experts with Merantix Momentum, and being orchestrators of 100k+ people interaction on the Merantix AI Campus, Europe’s largest AI community space, form our key differentiator factors and a magnet for anyone building or investing in AI.
Your role
We are seeking a talented, driven, and entrepreneurial individual to lead our €100M fund’s operations. That includes:
Managing and executing our fund‘s (co)-investment transactions in close collaboration with the investment team and our external legal counsel;
Driving operational efficiency by streamlining processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a robust and state-of-the-art foundation for our fund's investment activities;
Owning the relationships with all external stakeholders (such as fund admin, tax advisors, legal, auditors and regulators);
Being accountable for the fund‘s financial planning, controlling, and investor reporting; and
Building trusted relationships with our LP base.
Your profile
We are looking for extraordinarily driven, capable, and visionary talent with an outstanding track record of personal, and professional achievements. You are:
Driven by entrepreneurship and possessing a growth mindset;
Have 3-5 years of multidisciplinary experience in finance, operations, legal, and compliance within a challenging professional environment, including a minimum of 2 years specifically in a venture capital fund;
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with an in-depth attention to detail and a keen interest in leading and growing a team; and
Are passionate about creating meaningful impact and contributing to the European AI revolution.
